You don't have to get involved in trials etc. But they will offer you learning/training courses in the area in which you live and pay all your expenses.

The speakers are all clinicans who do care about you and definitely care about their research and will always try and help you to understand what is going wrong/right and tell you so much about your disease.

All the things that you ever want to know and have never asked or been given a load of technical twaddle that you don't understand.

Please give it a thought and then act....even if you never make a meeting or want to go on a course they will keep on updating you about what is happening in the world of Diabetic Research.
