ways to keep warm Empty ways to keep warm

Since it has been so cold I have been trying to find ways to keep warm. Here are some of the things I have come up with

turn the central heating up Embarassed
shut all the doors and windows
pull all the curtains
wear lots of thin layers santa
drink lots of warm drinks
keep busy & active
stay in bed
find someone to hug cheers
go somewhere warm sunny
hug a hot water bottle (in an appropriate cover) Sleep

What do you all do to keep warm?

Get the floor scrubber out at work (like we did today) and scrub in all the corners and make it all like a new pin - phew!

hall where my pilates class is has been really cold recently so this week i wore my thermal top underneath my t-shirt, nice and cosy

so my advice is to invest in some merino thermals, non itchy, non smelly (can wear for at least a week without a hint of a smell) and even keep you warm when wet - perfect Very Happy

either that or find somebody to cuddle

I'd like to find a nice cosey politician ~ you know the type....immune from reality, devoid of any sensation other than to feather his/her own nest, content in his/her own financial environment (cos he/she has just voted him/herself a whacking great pay increase plus expenses), who hasn't got a brain (that's the vast majority) and resembles a log (watch Parliament 'Live' - I use the term loosely so that it refers to the vast majority) and toss them on the fire.....
thereby knowing with all that wood between their ears and gas in the rest of their bodies they will keep me and the rest of the country toasty and warm for ages........!!

Oh Gosh was I too harsh???

Very Happy

Thinking of poloticians and hot air, how about moving into the Gas-Works-On-Thames aka the palaces of Westninster aka The Houses of Parliment all together?
