Introduction to Herman Clausan

I am here because I can't be there. Also searching for a site that is not over moderated. I love humor, but when you get a large number of moderators you get an infraction. Suspended for 2 weeks. Remember

On to me . I am a type 2 diabetic. I don't believe in bs tests. I do 1 every 3 months. The reason is : If you aren't going to do anything with the numbers , then why test. My HBA1C is , the last time checked 3 month ago :5.5 . Yesterday was my 3 month test FBS was 96 or 5.33.
I got this control over High glucose levels , high Cholesterol and High Blood pressure by Introducing Nordic Walking as my exercise. This is not an advertisment. I don't want an infraction.

But I walk 1 1/2 hours a day , everyday , rain or shine. I also take 2000mg of metformin a day plus 3 mg. Amaryl. 250mcg. Nicotinic acid for cholesterol. It does the same as statins but does not have those killing side effects. The only one I have is Flushing. And I don't mind that.

I am 67 years old. I live in Thailand. I have a 69 year old girlfriend (Ugly I might add). And meaner than a junk yard dog. I have lived here for the past 9 years. I love America but hate to live there. Their health care SUCKS . Well anyway 5 years ago a couple were going to throw away their little girl (Age 4) .So I stepped in and taken care of her . Schools here are not good so I have her in catholic school. Priest promised me that he would not try to make her catholic. I want her Buddhist. Like the rest of the country.

We are moderated here - so no, you won't be able to push things too far here either.... However, if you take a chill pill (which is what my hubby needs this morning grrrrr) - and I'm sure we'll get on just fine.
We are all individuals and need to approach our diabetes (or that of our partners) in individual ways - what works for one certainly doesn't work for others. But work it must, lest we decline.
