Flu Jab! Empty Flu Jab!

I hope you have all been for your Jab! I went this week after being bombarded by advertising on the Radio and television. I think this years campaign narrated by Stephen Fry has been very effective - well it worked for me.

I booked one at work but couldn't have it done because I got the cold that's doing the rounds here. My doc wont do it unless I take two or three weeks from work but is not so keen to do a certificate for a cold!

Flu Jab! Empty Flu Jab

Glad you got your jab Dave, I wouldn't have one given (never had one in my 34 years of being diabetic) my diabetic friends have been very ill over years after having it, one getting a nasty bout of flu about a month following the jab as it doesn't actually stop you getting it, they can nag all they want - won't have a pneumonia jab either.

Personal choice - I'm sure lots of people swear by them Very Happy

I have my flu jab every year and I had the pneumonia one a couple of years ago - with T1 Brittle Asthma, I'm too scared not to.

I'm having mine on the 28th of November, see the other thread about flu jabs. I quite like the price FREE, so make sure I take up on things like flu jabs, eye checks and get a prescription when I have a cough...
