on line via my Drs website - how cool is that! No need to go into town!!! Also, I pay the NHS for my medication monthly (about £10.25 each month for 10 months of the year) - and that covers all my meds... Smile

Hey good one!

I have given up ringing pharmacy next door to Drs as they normally
a) get it wrong
b)don't pick up the script
c) don't ahve it ready or are still short when I go to collect it.
Normally write GP letter and hand it in...easier that way and he's good at issuing ASAP

Do you have a medical exemption certificate Imogen? My phramacist told me I needed one and for once the practice nurse was quite helpful and organised the form for me. This means all my medication is free and I have free sight tests. DOn't think it covers dentists.

Good for you re ordering meds through doctors web site...

At the moment, I am having no treatment for my diabetes...

"Diabetes mellitus except where treatment is by diet alone"...

I guess I still have to pay for my asthma and blood pressure medication?

only get dispensation when you start having metformin or similar. I was diet controlled for 3 yrs or so and had to pay for my other scripts including test strips.
