Bouncing sugar levels
Does anyone else get times where no matter what you try your sugar levels are just out of control?
Mine is doing it at the moment (last two weeks!). It can range from 4 all the way up to 24. This is with extra insulin. I'm going crazy trying to keep it at something sensible. The nurses say the don't know what to do either.
Any suggestions as to what I can do?

Hiya, well at the minute I also have mega swings in the sugar levels, however, as I am also having problems period wise, being 48 and too young for the menopause, my GP reckons my hormones are stretching their legs. It's a case of just keep doing what you are doing, even though I have next to no control. My GP and I also are of the opinion that I am becoming insulin resistant, so after Xmas, its a rethink and replan on the way I have controlled myself over the last 30 years. Sorry little help I know - they even offered me a trial with the "pen" to do more injections thorughout the day - no thanks - not yet anyway. Good luck with your battle!
