postage stamps

Post  caroline wilson on Thu Oct 30, 2008 4:30 pm

Not exactly raising money. I save used postage stamps for The British Kidney Patients Assocyation. I started many years ago by passing them on to someone I worled with, I tehn started my family and she retired.

I save them in memory of my cousins late wife who had kidney problems since childhood. She had a kidney transplant with a kidney donated by her mother.

Actually one of the potential problems we face is kidney failiure, so it's mot that altruistic saving stamps for BKPA!

We save stamps at work - usually send them to the local health shop who use them for various charities or send them direct to the RSPB, etc. Smile

It would be interesting to hear how others raise money and what for. Question How about some more replies. As it all counts towards a good cause no effort is too big or too small lol!
