Controlling my Type 2

Post  Imogen on Tue Mar 16, 2010 7:50 pm

I had another bloody test at the beginning of the year and the result was 7.2 - I control mine by diet only and I am on a low carb diet. My diet hadn't been very good because I was ill and "cheating" a bit, but I still managed a reasonable result. I really do recommend a low carb eating plan for controlling type 2.... just thought I'd mention it.

Always easier said than done though isn't it?

Olive oil is good especially if you have a green salad before say lunch and dinner...so the experts say.

I'm trying to cut back on them as well..especially high GI carb's but I still reckon that what suits one doesn't always suit another.
