Hi im katy im 22 and ive had type one since i was 2years old. i read about this in Balance magazine, ive been looking for something like this for a while, what a great idea!!

Hi Katy, and welcome to the board. 
There are quite a few people on here who have had Type 1 since they were in their teens who have had quite a hard time of it - do you think it has been easier for you because you've "always" had the condition?

Hi Katy, i've only just created an account here too though i've probably been lurking for a wee while.
i've been type 1 diabetic since the age of 6, over 24 years with the condition now and i try and make sure that it lives with me rather than me living with it if that makes sense
anyway welcome and i'll welcome myself at the same time
