Hello I'm Pat

Hello everyone, I've just joined after reading of a article from Imogen in Nov/Dec Balance so thought I'd have a look.

I've been type 1 for 42 years and generally find it easy to get on with. Not always the case particularly when young as didn't understand and support was pretty useless so I'm a bit envious of all the support there is now. I take a pretty light hearted approach to diabetes and, whilst I take it v serious inside, on the outside I'm very jovial about it, sometimes making jokes especially experience of my hypo induced 'parallel worlds' Could tell you a few stories!

Hi Pat,
Nice to meet you. Very quiet here at the mo, I expect, like me, everyone is enjoying the definitely not allowed food. Ha Ha. Funny thing is I don't enjoy mince pies and Christmas cake any more so am happilly going back to my regular diet. Cream is my failing, I'll have that on almost anything.
