I have the feeling that this site has been got by those doggies you mentioned and carried away....
There's so many more places that are so much more interesting that this...

My bad
It's been so manic here lately (no excuse, I know), but I have just had my diagnosis confirmation - I have BOTH Lupus and Osteoarthritis
and the medics have told Doug that they're putting him on insuline on Friday .......Fun times

Oh No !!!
Sorry to hear that for both of you. Which I could say something witty and reassuring etc...... but can't at the moment
What a bummer
Arthritis Research Council do some very good leaflets if you want to know more, or if I can help with any other literature etc...let me know.
Take care

Re: View but no replies??
Thanks Nick
At the moment I think I'm suffering with information overload
I've been reading everything possible since my first blood test back in September........I'm pretty sure that I could write my own paper now
I'm currently doing the rounds of all the therapists - Physio, Occupational and Hydro and have an appointment in June with a Dermatologist......Still waiting for one with a Neurologist as the consultant thinks I may also be getting Cluster Headaches. So with all that and the Type 1 Brittle Asthma, as you can imagine.......I now rattle when I walk.
All I need to find now is a painkiller that I can take during the day that doesn't affect my driving
(something that doesn't contain Ibuprofen as that could kill me
)
I'm staying positive though......If I didn't laugh.........

The other night I really fancied an ice-cold glass of wine.......But alcohol reacts with my Asthma meds and brings on an attack

Re: View but no replies??
Sigh!
I have been sooooo busy working every day and trying to meet weekly to get the new allotments up and running!
Poor babe, Clare, I feel for you, I really do. I hope you can get on top of this stuff to a certain extent so you can have some good days.
My friend has cancer (2-5 years prognosis) and our boss arranged for her to have one of her dreams come true the other day - she went up in a helicopter - she was terrified and excited and really loved it! A good day for her.
Tired. Need to walk the dogs... c u soon xxxxx
