I'm just wondering, if they did find anything would that definitly mean I would have to have my eye lasered? Or are there other things you can do?

Fear Of Hypoglycemia A Barrier To Exercise For Type 1 Diabetics

ScienceDaily (Nov. 28, 2008) — According to a new study a majority of diabetics avoid physical activity because they worry about exercise-induced hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and severe consequences including loss of consciousness. Despite the well-known benefits of exercise, this new study builds on previous investigations that found more than 60 ...

I have been diabetec, type 1, since I started my GCSE's which makes it nearly 6 years... ouch.. counting the years makes me feel so bad. It sounds like such a long time to organise myself with it all but it's gone on a very gradual slope downhill.

Since I was diagnosed as a Type one nearly 3 years ago, I have been prescribed a 75mg aspirin every day. A few days ago. the headlines in the Daily Mail told us all that the benefits of aspirin for Diabetics had not been proven and that it could be doing more harm than good.

Does anyone else get confused by the mixed messages that we recieve and does it lead you to doubt some of the expert advice we are given?
