Delicious sauce for gammon or chicken

Low carb

Cook the gammon or chicken in a pan (with oil), until it's browned (and partially cooked through if it's chicken), add 300ml approx of cider or low carb beer and reduce until thickened up (about 20 mins) on simmering heat. Cook vegetables at this point. About 5 mins before serving, add double cream to taste and maybe a little pepper - no salt if you're using gammon. Heat through and serve.
